Sneaker

September 22, 2015

123 After repeatedly finding myself at the park for some impromptu playground time in completely inappropriate footwear (4″ pumps, yes, it has happened), I decided to do something useful: I left a pair of sneakers in the car.

Several of my friends (separately!) who are also moms have been sporting the Zero-Grand oxford (this gray pair) by Cole Haan at Nordstrom and they both (separately!) raved about how comfortable and easy they were to wear. I took note. And I’m so glad I did – this sneaker version is exceptionally lightweight and perfect for running around for errands, or chasing after my very active toddler.

And the sneakers-in-car thing? It’s been such a relief. I rotate through my current favorites so there’s always a stylish pair on hand whether I’m at home or on the run.

Zero-Grand sneakers – Cole Haan at Nordstrom (here)
Turtleneck – J.Crew (old, similar styles priced high to low: here, here and here)
Cardigan – Madewell (in burgundy and gray here)
Jeans – Madewell (similar styles priced high to low: here, here and here)
Sunglasses – Celine (similar here)
Purse – Chloe (similar mini version saddle bag here)
Nails – Louboutin Beaute (I’m so in love with the application. I only do at-home manicures so I’ve just splurged on a beige color too, can’t wait to try it! here)

Stripes and sneakers – here ere are more of my picks:
