Embellished

 I was looking through my closet a while ago and thinking about the special and unique items that I’d love to give Lucia one day (“vintage” by then, of course). Among those: a citrine ring (which is engraved with her name), a floral pencil skirt (which I wore when my husband proposed to me), and my classic trench (which was given to me for our first wedding anniversary).

Adding to that list: this embellished coat by Diane von Furstenberg from Nordstrom. It doesn’t have the personal significance just yet, but it’s so unique and unlike anything else in my closet, I’m convinced it was made for special moments (ha!). Or, at the very least, I think it’ll make a fabulous vintage coat down the road. In the meantime, I’ll be pulling this beauty out for eventful evenings and daytime glamour alike.
