Rainy Days

 We’ve been getting a lot of rain lately (thankfully…because California needs it!), so last year’s rain boots are finally starting to get a lot of use (and I’ve been switching on/off with this pair – it’s nice and slender, not bulky!). My appreciation for rain gear came about during my many city years: I didn’t drive when I lived in SF, so that meant on rainy days I was standing outside trying to catch a cab or taking a very wet bus, or in times of desperation and frustration, just walking the whole way home from work in the rain. Rain is definitely easier to manage when you’re well-prepared.
