It’s hard to believe, but after all of my trips to France (and even living in Paris for 5 weeks when I was 17), I had never once ventured out to the countryside. My days in Cognac were so memorable and the scenery was just breathtaking – it’s making me crave a visit to all of the other regions outside of Paris that I haven’t explored.
