Sandal Season

 Good morning and happy Monday! My weekend went exactly as planned: not too scheduled, a lot of delicious food (Sushi Ran and Out the Door’s brunch!), and plenty of time to cuddle with Lucia (when she agrees to be cuddled, that is). Nowadays Lucia is showing all signs of being a three-nager: willfulness, stubbornness and a whole lot of personality. And the occasional fit. She is, naturally, a comedienne. Such a far cry from how I was as a little kid (and this I verified with my family!). But what I’m really proud of is that she is gentle, friendly, and thoughtful of other kids and everyone around her. She never needed to be “taught” how to share, so we definitely can’t take credit for any of that. Every day with her is an adventure – I’m loving it!

PS: It’s sandal season! I love how comfortable this pair is from Sole Society, plus they don’t slide off the heel.
