Readiness

Cue the tears (mine, not his): Kellan is officially in pre-school. Just like his big sister, he walked right into an unknown-to-him building, into the arms of strangers (his sweet teachers) and had the biggest grin on his face while saying good-bye to us.

For months he’s been saying “I’m ready for pre-school!” as a celebration for peeing in the potty. Today we got to witness that he was, in fact, ready.

The better question was: were we ready?

What a milestone – so happy for all the playing and learning that’s ahead for him!
