What I’m Shopping: Now on Sale
November 27, 2025
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours! We hosted the extended family for a coffee social at our house yesterday morning: any coffee your way (thanks to our Jura which might never have worked as hard as it did yesterday for 24 ppl), mimosas and speciality gluten free pastries from a Portland bakery.
This morning is much quieter in our house: lazy, lingering time in bed and some shopping, before I need to get going on food prep for my (very small) contribution to Thanksgiving dinner.
At risk of repeating myself, I will say: Designer Sale season is here and this is when I find timeless forever pieces in better quality than my dollars otherwise could fetch. And this is true regardless of your budget – sale season is time to level up!
Here’s what I’m shopping today:
- A silk slip skirt in a midi length is a classic, and this color is stunning. I’d pair it with a tonal oversized cardigan, possibly belted. It’s 40% off.
- If this were available in my size (Small), I would buy it! It’s the perfect blouse for a working woman’s closet – interesting, polished, feminine. An XSmall is available!
- Trousers can be really difficult to shop for but they’re also what is easiest to find on sale. A good pair of trousers are worth every penny: they retain their shape, look as polished at the end of the day as it did when the day began, and generally just fit better. I like this classic straight leg shape. The rise is a bit lower than years past and I’m very curious to how it feels to incorporate a mid-rise into my rotation again. It’s 70% off, made in Italy. Note: it’s final sale.
- After falling in love with this white button up shirt, I’m giving this Tartan plaid shirt a try! I went up a few sizes for a more oversized fit. It’s $58.
- The brown slingback heels I’ve been wearing nonstop are 25% off and sizes are selling out!
Hope you have a wonderful day!!!
